1 sputnik.	knottel's working day is over. because tonight he's going to visit his new girlfriend for the first time, he quickly wants to go buy her a nice little gift. the city is full of people.
2 flicker.	he has found the gift. it is funny and it flickers and he is happy. this is going to be a great evening for sure.
3 serpentine.	but first he has to make his way to her. she lives up the hill, through the forest. it's a long and arduous way. he doesn't feel so irresistible now. at last he arrives.
4 schatten und staub.	his new girlfriend is also nervous, but charmingly nervous. they cook together, that way they're busy and get to know each other at work. there's some great music playing in the kitchen, the cover's rattling on the pot. knottel is completely in love.
5 deconsoled.	after dinner he has to get it going somehow. but knottel feels exhausted from the long day, the march and the big meal. his new girlfriend also has a serious look in her eye now, this is hard. while they wash the dishes they don't talk a lot.
6 jacuzzi suite.	his new girlfriend has an idea. she runs a bath for him, this will be relaxing. she prepares him a tasty digestif and sits down on the edge beside him. knottel feels like a king.
7 rock the boat.	there is room for two in the tub, but not really. all the rocking and the collection of bath toys make them childish. knottel's gift turns out to be a hit. his new girlfriend is laughing, knottel too.
8 nachtbus.	unfortunately it has turned late. knottel has to go home. the evening was short, but nice, and knottel is in a good mood. there is a bus, and she brings him to the stop. in the bus he almost falls asleep.
9 the city's collapsing (but not tonight).	knottel gets out and feels dizzy. the short way home wakes him up again. downhill the zigzag is much easier. he steps out of the forest: the city's still standing like before.
10 kopfleuchten.	in bed it's cold. knottel wants to fall asleep, but he can't help thinking about his new girlfriend. was the evening too strange, or was it a success? how nice it would be if his girlfriend was still around now.
11 michelle's unblockable.	knottel has had enough of the thinking. he sits down by the box to play a few rounds of tekken. the character that he plays against is named like his girlfriend. she hauls off and strikes him k.o., and he can do absolutely nothing.
12 early shift.	it's getting light outside. the first doors can be heard closing, the first cars running. the city's waking up. knottel still has a few hours before he has to leave. he prepares some tea for himself in the kitchen, which reminds him of the great music in hers. he must ask her what it was.
