Speaking of absent producers, back comes Martin Damm (Biochip C., Speedfreak) with two hair-removing remixes of the originally serene "Pocket Monster". Each side of this 7-inch is distinct; one is a ruff-riding 150 [220] BPM rocket launcher with an earth-swallowing bassline, the other is straight-up noisecore, with breakbeats like white noise and any semblance of the original completely absent. Damm is a perennial favorite with techno freaks because he can move from hard techno to hardcore in a blink of an eye. ----Tim Haslett
